Your idea

Currently, the guitarGolpe symbol is present in the Master palette as a non-functional symbol under the "Symbols / Guitar" section. It looks like a '*' (asterisk).

In flamenco guitar, a golpe is represented as a 'x' symbol over a note or a rest, which seems to be a stylistic alternate (tailored towards flamenco).

See https://w3c.github.io/smufl/latest/tables/guitar.html for reference.

This request is to enable the flamenco guitar golpe notation, either by adding the guitarGolpeFlamenco to the Master palette (which probably involves working on a mechanism to enable "stylistic alternatives"), or by other means (eg an explicit 'x' symbol in the Guitar or Articulations palette).

Problem to be solved

Making it easier to add guitarGolpeFlamenco notation to a score. Having guitarGolpeFlamenco available under "Symbols / Guitar" would enable for adding this symbol to a custom palette tailored for flamenco guitar for instance.

There are alternatives like adding stave text with a 'X' and others. Since "golpe flamenco" is such a frequently used technique when playing flamenco, a specific symbol for it would be more suitable.

Additional context

Something like this has been reported / commented before for some Japanese symbols (#24619, #21322).
It seems that currently MS4 doesn't have the capabilities to access guitarGolpeFlamenco or any other "stylistic alternatives" from SMuFL (as commented in https://musescore.org/en/node/375463).
