I had realized that I can't do any kind of "retry" for quick actions. Would be extremely handy.
I also noticed there's no way as far as I can tell, to change context size, temperature etc for models.

These would be very helpful QOL improvements for me.

Side note: noticed that if I complete a quick action and dismiss the popup, the text I selected is naturally still selected but I can't launch another quick actions. i'm forced to de-select and re-select the text

seems like a bug, since text is selected but not being noticed by witsy

Hello,

  • yes retry for quick prompt would be handy I agree. Will take care of that
  • I already have the underlying mechanisms to set context size, temperature, top_k and top_p. Need to expose that in the UI. Coming soon

For the select stuff it is a bit messy I agree. Witsy being cross-platform, there is no super reliable way to do the get selected text thing going.

Thanks, I appreciate it. i've been enjoying this quite a bit. I appreciate the quick response on features/bugs.

I've been a MSTY user for a while and am getting frustrated that I keep getting new bugs and errors with every new version, that often break my install.

Pie in the sky feature would be a side by side "split" feature where you can write a prompt, and send it to as many models as you like to compare them side by side. It processes them one after another. It's great for testing things like reasoning models or trying to gauge hallucinations.

Anyway, thanks again
