Only Few Texts Synced

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Signal and set as the default text app. Use it for a while to have tons of texts.
2. Install Nextcloud SMS (this app), configure account
3. Press "sync now".

Expected behaviour

My texts, at least all the non-Signal specific messages (ie, unencrypted to and from phone numbers) should all be synced.

Actual behaviour

Only a few handful of messages were synced, with no particular pattern I could recognize - eg. parts of some "conversations", as Signal calls them, are synced, while other texts from the same (automated) sender are being ignored.

Server configuration

Nextcloud version: 17.0.2.1

PHP version: 7.3

Webserver: nginx 1.14.2-2+deb10u1

HTTPS: yes

Client configuration

Android version: 7.2

Phone: OnePlus 3

Nextcloud SMS app version: 2.0.5

Have you tried to reinitiate the synchronisation cursor and start a new synchronisation?

I tried this : still no sms handled by Signal is synced.
