[Error Submission] Error 160-2217 #1384
Comments
it would appear that the game is corrupted. your usb drive is probably dying. also, 160 errors are always fatal system errors, never NEX or anything else. |
Thanks. I'll keep the issue open until the bot is updated. |
Just an update and can confirm that this error means general game corruption. removed the usb and redownloaded the games and everything is good now. keeping issue open for previous reason. |
it's not just game corruption, its corruption in general on either the eMMC (MLC) or USB. |
My findings would indicate that the error stands for USB game corruption. not nand corruption. If it was full on USB Corruption, not just usb game corruption the error would have been 160-4711. |
Console
Wii U (Black NTSC 32GB)
Error Code
160-2217
Error Description
Found while trying to play the eShop Exclusive game "Maze". (Purchased Legally Before I even hacked my wii u, its on a usb drive.) Occurs when opening the game, at the point where it should start. Appears to be either a NEX error (Based On Error Code, Tested Turning Pretendo OFF. Changed Nothing.) or a USB Issue? Even a Piracy Check?
Nintendo Website Has Been Noted To Say Call Customer Support, However it appears the error has been deleted from the finder.
