possible to render emotes from both channels in shared chat?

Twitch recently added a "stream together" feature which includes shared chat. When channel "A" starts a shared chat with channel "B", chat messages from B's viewers will display in A's chat window, However, bttv emotes used in B's chat do not render in A's chat -- they just show up as ordinary text. Is it possible to fix this?

Some things to consider:

• Should viewers in channel A's chat be able to use channel B's emotes? Or just view them?
• Should emotes from both channels display in the emote menu?
