Newly added emotes do not preview inside the input chat box until page is refreshed

Describe the bug
When emotes are added in real-time, they do not preview inside the input chat box until the page is refreshed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to a stream chat
2. Add an emote to the channel
3. Type the emote, use tab-complete, or use the emote menu to append the emote to the chat box
4. Observe it is the text codename

Expected behavior
The text codename is replaced by the emote image inside the chat box
