One of the most badass websites I've seen in a long time (probably in my top 5) would have to be that of the London-based creative agency that "makes tired brands creative again":

Impero.

Why this website kicks so much ass:

  • Original Design: Impero's breadcrumbs design pattern is in the top right hand corner of the homepage. The intro of who they are and what they do is a scrollable, colorful, and clean design that gets to the point: the 5 W's are answered within a few page scrolls.

  • Effective communication: the content is easy to read. Instead of bullet points, they use short sentences that sum up their mission statement with powerful active verbs followed by testimonials by clients who have hired Impero's services in constructive rebranding.

  • Color choice: I love that they chose yellow as their primary color––prompting a call-to-action on part of the potential client. The white/negative space juxtaposed with the bold yellow and complementary grays exude a confidence on the page that transfers over to Impero's own brand. Great work!
