Hi there @nil0x42
Sorry for the long delay.

Pros:

  • Graph Visualization
  • Very VERY fast even with a huge number of notes
  • Separate "Vaults" with individual configurations
  • Community AND Obsidian made plugins to enhance the experience
  • Tags, LaTeX, Footnotes, Internal Links, Filenames to embed notes
  • Task list, Markdown table, syntax highlighting
  • Note multiplexer with possibility to save the workspace layout

Cons:

  • Learning curve can be a little more than other tools
  • Needs plugins to be usable 100% (auto table format & such)
  • AFAIK not 100% open sourced (plugin creators need to ask
  • Misses a webclipper plugin like Joplin's one
  • Needs to be configured properly to stay clean in your note taking workflow
  • Misses multiple "export to PDF" options (create pages, custom css etc...)

For me it is all. Don't hesitate to ask if you need more inputs on specific details.

Cheers
