Generating playlists by Genre issues #40
Comments
Maybe you need to write the genre in lower characters |
Thank you! That generated two playlists named "Playlist 1" and "Playlist 2". Is there a way to rename them? Edit: It should be noted that it only worked when I omitted the -p and -t options. |
In which way named? In the filesystem or as sound on the ipod itself? Maybe you need to enable playlist voiceover? |
The playlists are those that show up in both Banshee and Rhythmbox, so I'm assuming its stored in the things miscellaneous "itunes" settings. I tried adding .m3u and .pls playlists, but they don't work because of relatively file system issues (I might be able to get them to work using sed but I don't really know the format too well) |
I'm trying to generate two different voiceover playlists for two different Genres of music. I want one for Rock, and one for Soundtrack.
However, it's not accepting playlists set up by Banshee OR Rhythmbox, with the -p and -t options.
It also won't accept any .m3u or .pls because of the relative files.
-i Rock does not work, or does -i {Genre}.
This is probably my fault because I misinterpreted the instructions, but they are still unclear. Any advice?
