Mozilla has a new TTS library, which produces better quality tts than espeak or pico2wave. Maybe it would be worth integrating https://github.com/mozilla/TTS

Both repos give pip install TTS as the instruction for installing from PyPI. Said PyPI project has Coqui branding. The Github repo under Mozilla is at version 0.0.9 (first release) and was last updated in February, while the one under Coqui is at version 0.0.15.1 and was last updated a few hours ago.
Coqui appears to have been founded by Mozilla employees: (1), (2).
So I deduce the version under the Mozilla Github organisation, which is no longer the version installed by pip when following the installation instructions, is just an older version from before the developers spun off a separate company.
