Mediornet subscription VS Lawo subscription

Hello, I want to know if someone encountered this problem?:
When I suscribe to a lawo ember path, ember+ server returns the current path's value but when I suscribe to a Riedel Mediornet path ember+ server returns nothing.
Is it due to a difference between each manufacturer's ember+ implementations?
Is there another solution to get the actual value of an ember+ path (There's a setValue function but no getValue function apparently)?
