I get this exception when running tests in 0.6.0-SNAPSHOT:

org.codehaus.plexus.component.repository.exception.ComponentLookupException: Component descriptor cannot be found in the component repository

As a quick and dirty solution to get the thing released, I just renamed test to MojoTest.java.borked.

At least 'normal' Junit tests that dont' inherit from AbstractMojoTestCase can run
