I don't know if this is feature request or bug report because I used Avahi as well and switched to umdns, but I remember I could see router itself (hostname) in windows network discovery. I can access router by entering hostname of the router in web browser but I cannot see it in windows filemanager...
I have latest snapshot and these are my settings, also here is my wireshar pcap where I don't see that hostname is advertised...
