I also should add that an original Pi Pico 2 works just fine with Thonny IDE. |

Hi all,
I bought a Xiao RP2350 and am running Arduino code in it no problem. Now I want to run micropython in it, and the official guide https://wiki-seeedstudio-com.translate.goog/getting-started-xiao-rp2350/ states that I need to install the uf2 file that best suits my board.
The problem is that in the official micropython website there is no mention at all about the Xiao RP2350 line, and when I install the "vanilla"uf2 for the Pi Pico 2 in my RP2350, it does not get recognized by Thonny IDE. It does "accept" that I drag & drop the file but does not show up as a COM port afterwards.
Also the Thonny IDE itself has a "board update" feature which I use and it does its thing. But also the board is not recognized by Thonny.
I just downloaded Thonny 4.1.7 and my RP2350 is brand new. My info_uf2.txt inside the Xiao reads:
"UF2 Bootloader v1.0
Model: Raspberry Pi RP2350
Board-ID: RP2350"
