It should be

const chainId = this.torusInstance.provider.chainId;

Because of this bug, torus asks for chain switch confirmation every time the user refreshes browser (i.e. when web3auth.init() is called)

How to reproduce

• Go to https://app.vrynt.io/login
• Click SIGN IN WITH... button
• Log in with google
  • You will be redirected to https://app.vrynt.io/discover
• Reload the page
  • Observe that it asks for chain switch confirmation

This should be fixed in v4.0.0

@chaitanyapotti just fyi, we did not implement torus-wallet-connector-plugin. We implemented it as Torus wallet as an external wallet.

However the issue seems to lie in the code we mentioned above.

We believe changing it to this would fix it:
const chainId = this.torusInstance.provider.chainId;

@chaitanyapotti Was this the info you needed? Can you confirm that this is the issue and an eta? We have been dealing with this for at least 6 months and we are getting endless user complaints about it
