I looked into Vale last week for Dorothy: it was not suitable for Dorothy, as too many false flags for technical terms and people's names, however if it improves later, here are the takeaways.

The RedHat Documentation Style Guide keeps on task for being a professional and focused style guide, without the over-stepping of the Google and Microsoft guides to enforce American political principles, notably forgetting that in English the masculine pronouns have always been the gender-neutral pronouns (even if there is a concerted effort within American English to revise this).
