Have other students encountered similar problems, and if so, what solutions have they found? |

Hi everyone,
I'm not sure why Github made it so hard to prove that I am a legitimate student, forcing me to use this weird application procedure using their weird web app. I got a digitally signed pdf clearly stating that I am currently enrolled in a university, easily verifiable with the click of a button through the university but obviously this is not enough for Github. I have to upload selfies doing a headstand and then some. Wth?
I can't even switch to my main mobile camera to take a "photo" of my documents, gotta admire the great coding skills of Github. I mean, come on now, how dumb is it to take a photo of a PDF? What is this, 1995? Maybe I should take a photo of the PDF and fax the printout to Github, seems more reliable to me.
