Suggested Feature:
It would be helpful if GitHub could automatically organize repositories into folders based on their creation year. For example, when a user clicks on a folder labeled 2024, they would see all the repositories created in 2024. Similarly, clicking on a folder for 2025 would show repositories created in that year.
Why This is Useful:
As a user, this feature would allow me to easily track repositories based on the year they were created. It would significantly improve organization, especially as I create and manage multiple repositories each year. With this folder-based structure, I can easily locate and categorize my projects by the year they were created, making it easier to manage and navigate them.
Example Workflow:
In 2025, I would have a folder called 2024, which would contain all repositories created in 2024.
The 2025 folder would automatically be populated with repositories created in 2025 as I continue my work.
This year-based organization would stay updated automatically without needing manual intervention.
This simple feature could greatly enhance the experience of users who work on multiple projects over extended periods and need a structured way to manage them.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
