Verifying a secondary email address requires you to be logged in. This should not be necessary. It should be a secure token that expires in a reasonable amount of time that can be sent to a public endpoint. This is an unnecessary inconvenience for users who keep their accounts compartmentalized and don't stay logged in to every service in the same browser or use the same email addresses across devices.
