This sounds as if no signal is being sent to the server. Did he use the Mute myself button on the bottom left? This stopps sound being sent to the server and basically enables local monitoring via software. |

Hi --
I'm trying to help a band mate get Jamulus 3.7 up and running on his Mac. He is using an Apogee Plus audio interface and we have verified the following:
In the Mac System Preferences, the Apogee is set as both input and output device.
He hears his mic through the headphones connected to the Apogee
In the Mac Sound applet he sees activity on the input meter when he speaks through the microphone
In Jamulus client 3.7 Settings window he has selected Apogee Plus for both input and output
When we are both connected to the server we both see a channel in the mixer for both him and me
But he sees no activity on his input meter when he speaks through the microphone
And neither of sees any activity on his channel strip when he speaks through his microphone
But he hears me through his headphones, so the output from jamulus is clearly working
Does anyone have any ideas why the input from the Apogee Plus, which is clearly reaching the Mac, does not make its way to Jamulus?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
