MQTT doesn't appear to upload other RF nodes

I have 2 nodes on opposite ends of the house (as high up as possible) setup in client mode.
I have a T-Deck (original) was flashed with 2.5.3 Fancy UI, now flashed with the Tech Preview 2.6 new UI. and I have it set to Client Mute.

Setup 2 private channels on all 3.
RF works fine on all channels.

MQTT does not for the T-Deck when it transmits. I can recieve traffic (RF i suppose) but nothing i send from it goes over MQTT.
Example:
I have MQTT setup on both my big nodes. I have 2 private channels setup with UPload and download set for mqtt and ok to mqtt set.
however nothing i send from the tdeck makes it to other MQTT nodes outside of my RF footprint.

This use to work way back before i started playing with fancy UI but I haven't got it to actually work in a long time.

Is it just me or is it a bug or something?

Have you enabled "Ok to MQTT" on the tDeck?

I don't see that setting on the T-Deck running 2.6 on the "New" UI. am i missing it?

It's probably missing as the UI is very much a preview. You'll need to connect with one of the apps or the python CLI if you want to change that setting.
