Hi,

in light of a year's worth of inactivity on this project and the lacking support for the 3.0 release of OrientDB:

  • what is the state of this project? Can we expect it to be maintained in the future?
  • what is Callidus Software's official stance on using OrientDB from .NET?

I am also interested in a state of .NET Core OrientDb client while evaluating our next generation database.

After considering OrientDB for a .NET Core 2 project, I noticed that the .NET Core package has been removed from nuget.org, the doc is out of date and there is no activity here. Would be nice to see an update and a stable release.

The OrientDB .NET SDK is currently being rewritten as a modular SDK. If you would like to check it out and help drive the direction of the new version, see OrientDB.NET.Core.

It doesn't look that way. And that's fine, all kinds of other stuff can have a higher priority, but at least tell the community about it. Honesty is better than radio silence.

Would have liked to use OrientDB in my .NET Project, but i will definitively not use a minimal documented 3 year old library that describes itself as "Experimental" :/
