Online Tracking

Hello Everyone,

I am new to OsmAnd (4.9.10) and currently testing some funcionalities.
One of them is "live tracking". I have added a URL which will send me an email. No parameters as of yet. I have started a recording (incl. live) which locally works nicely. However, it does not seem to call the URL (http, not https). The same URL works okay when put into the browser. Also works with LocusMap.
Any suggestion what I may be doing wrongly?

Google did not really help me or I am too stupid.

Okay, you certainly knew it.
It only works with https!
But why, shouldn't it be free of choice?
