characters are blurry in iframe with Windows + FF #379
Comments
@KatieWoe how do things look with win11 + FF? |
I do see this on Win 11 FF |
A couple of follow up questions:
|
It looks like it does happen in published, and it does not seem to be specific to any particular character for me. |
I see the same as Katie |
@KatieWoe and @Nancy-Salpepi just out of curiosity, can you do the same test with a sim that is using SVGs (Arithmetic, Area Model sims)? To help pinpoint the source of the problem. |
It's hard to see with those sims since there aren't really characters to look at. I don't see much difference at first glance between FF and Chrome |
After a conversation with @amanda-phet We've decided that it is not worth the effort at this stage in the QA process to resolve this issue since it is already seen in the published version. We believe that switching to SVG images could potentially provide a fix, but have not tested that theory (doing so would take a couple of days of exporting and implementing the new files). Deferring this issue to a future publication. |

Problem description
For phetsims/qa#1012, the characters are very choppy looking in the iframe using firefox. I don't see this with Win10 + chrome or with mac + FF.
