Describe the bug
Polkits tty agent uses the LANG variable to localize it's prompt, even when LC_MESSAGES is set.

To Reproduce

  1. Run
$ LANG=sl_SI.UTF-8 LC_MESSAGES=en_US.UTF-8 systemctl restart nftables.conf
$ LANG=en_US.UTF-8 systemctl restart nftables.conf
  1. See that in the first case the prompt is still in sl_SI.

Expected behavior
I expected the user facing text to be in the language set by the LC_MESSAGES environment variable.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS (including version): Debian 13
  • Desktop Environment [Gnome, KDE, ...]: Sway
  • Version of polkit: 126
