file selection window doesn't work on qemu/kvm session #1161

I run COSMIC on qemu/kvm as vm. QXL video is used. And whenever I am supposed to see a file selection window, that window never appears.. If I switch to virtio with opengl, that window appears. (but virtio has other rendering issues, but that's another story)
