I was trying out today's Fedora COSMIC nightly ISO and observed that Anaconda isn't launching maximized like it's supposed to.
Here's what it looks like:
And here's log data with WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 set: anaconda-liveinst-wayland-debug-log.txt
WAYLAND_DEBUG=1
In contrast, other desktops do maximize it properly (for example, KDE Plasma shown below):
