1.2.6 Rebase #74
Comments
@mmstick could we get pipewire updated? cheers / thank you 🙇 |
Looks like 1.1.83's out now. It does look like the 1.1.8x releases are actually 1.2 release candidates. The most recent "stable" release appears to be 1.0.7. |
@mmstick @jacobgkau 1.2.0 has been released. |
I will package it this weekend |
@mmstick @jacobgkau 1.2.1 has been released. |
@mmstick @jacobgkau 1.2.2 has been released. |
@mmstick @jacobgkau what's the timeframe on when we'll have updated pipewire? |
@ianhundere What is your sound card and what is the bug or feature you're looking to resolve with a new release? @mmstick can package 1.2.2 when he has time, but we can't release if there are regressions, and the engineering team is currently in meetings regarding COSMIC Epoch for the first half of this week. |
@jacobgkau allen heath qupac / there are too many improvements to mention. |
I packaged 1.2.2 for 24.04. Will check if it's possible to backport later. |
As stated in #77 (comment), we're stuck on an older version because newer versions cause regressions on one of our products. If the regression goes away upstream or can be fixed in another component (e.g. a new quirk in the kernel or something), then we could proceed with an update. I can test 1.2.5 if @mmstick packages it. |
ah, i completely missed that this was a regression in regards to one of y'all's supported products. no worries / thanks for explaining the issue further. |
@jacobgkau @mmstick by the way, 1.2.6 looks to resolve a number of issues and is backwards compatible / "This is a bugfix release that is API and ABI compatible with the previous 1.2.x and 1.0.x releases." |
bump pipewire to 1.2.6
