On different projects and with differenct filaments
-the printer correctly pauses and the filament is extracted.
-the printer re-boots
-the printer pauses, apparantly to warm up
-the screen reports the job is 60% complete; the job is usually more than 60% done
-the printer pauses, apparantly to warm up
-the printer restarts at the correct position, but with no filament loaded.
Changing back to 6.1.2.bbf had no effect.
The printer had been working for several months before this issue arose.

The filament changes are triggered by the bgcode. In one project, the change is scheduled at 14 min, 23 sec. In the other, the change is scheduled at 16 min, 8 sec.
