The status of the library

Hello everyone!

I see that the last changes has been added to the library at the beginning of 2017 and quite a few issues are left unanswered. I like the simplicity of the interfaces and the possibility to use any JSON library by overriding JsonFormatter interface compared to logstash-logback-encoder library, which seems like a beast, but is this library dead?

I'm personally forking this to solve my performance, security issues with this lib: https://github.com/linagora/logback-contrib

Would be glad to contribute all this here if a maintainer is still alive though.
