Motivation for joining the STAC PSC:

• Provide a bridge between STAC and OGC, being an active community participant on the STAC-side, a specification maintainer on the OGC-side, and developing implementations involving both suites of standards.
• Provide a Canadian perspective to development and future requirements (ongoing work with government agencies).
• Promote and develop use of STAC within AI applications involving geospatial data.
• Provide user/researcher perspectives from a cross-domain view involving climate, geospatial and AI concerns.
