Great experience overall, but there's an annoying bug:

  1. Temporarily exit the x session - either by licking on "Switch User" or by ctrl+alt+F1.
  2. Log back in, or use ctrl+alt+F7 to get back, respectively.
This gets you back to "default" temperature, and the applet fails to adjust it again.

You can work around by disabling and the enabling the applet, but it would be nice if it applies the adjustment on its own.

Replicated on Mint 20.2 with Cinnamon 5.0.7 and QRedshift 1.7.1, switching TTYs disables screen tint.

However, note, it recovers and re-enables if I even just briefly hover the panel applet icon with the mouse. Timing is variable, sometimes it happened in less than a second, other times it took up to about 5 seconds, but I did not need to disable and re-enable. Any interaction with the applet at all would prompt it to recover.
