Feature request: deployment to other desktop environments

First of all, I'm a non-programmer Gnu/Linux user, so excuse me if what I'm asking is too much.

I have been seeing your QRedshift manager and I think it's one of the greatest tools anyone could find for any desktop, but for non-Cinnamon users it's a shame not having it. I, myself, use Xfce and would love to have it on my notification area, tray.

Maybe some day.... Needs to rewrite everything from scratch...
