remember editor choice for a specific file between sessions

My situation is that I'm editing a file called `Dockerfile.minimal`.  Of course "minimal" is not an extension that produces an editor (so it's a dumb name).  So I see the (very nice new) dialog that tells me that the file type is not known.  I can then click to edit the file.  The problem is that I have to do this every single time I refresh my browser.  It's getting old.
