I am using the latest brunch, Gumboz recovery 131, and have used Balena Etcher and Rufus with every combination of USB flash drive, SD Card and external SSD. I have one that always works for Brunch and nothing.

Every time I boot to Chrome OS, it starts like normal, rebuilding everything, etc. When I connect to Wi-Fi the screen turns black, if I have an external monitor plugged in it shows a green screen.

Any ideas?

Changing the kernel sometimes works for me when it comes to issues like that. You can find instructions using the link below.
