High memory usage even when the program is idle

Hey everyone!

I have a program based on SeleniumBase in which 30 chrome tabs are fired one-by-one, then they log into a websites account.
Then, the program waits for an API call to be made, and then it starts doing whatever it has to do in each account, which does bring up RAM usage and is absolutely normal.
However, after each API call, memory usage gets higher and higher and does not go back to the percentage it was when the program started the first time, even when sitting idle and doing nothing!
Is there any way possible to make sure the memory is cleared from the data that is being stored from each Chrome tab after an API call to the program?

It sounds like you would just need to quit the Chrome browser in order to free up the memory, unless there's some Chrome-specific command to do that. Perhaps you can achieve your goal by clearing the cache, cookies, and/or local/session storage.
