I am planning on moving my music library online. Is it possible to use this sending my navidrome library to my home Sonos set up? I'll be using docker, and I assume I would need to unlock a port or ports on my routers firewall?

I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work. As you are moving bonob and navidrome out of your home network I don't see why you would need to open any ports.
