@themalaysianguy @WJunnn Ok i found the solution. use (simpleStorage.target, [ ]) instead of (simpleStorage.address, [ ]) that'll fix the problem.

    if (network.config.chainId === 11155111 && process.env.ETHERSCAN_API_KEY) {
        console.log("Waiting for block confirmation...")
        await simpleStorage.deploymentTransaction().wait(6)
        await verify(simpleStorage.address, []) // In this line 
        use .target instead of .address  in here.

I'm out of SepoliaETH to try troubleshoot today but I would try using simpleStorage.target instead of .address under your 'if' function.

Was just about to test that but will need to resume tomorrow again after claiming more ETH from faucet
