Mac M1 Issue | Import Error & File Not Found Error

I've been having issues with Import Parser Error and File Not Found Error and I can confidently say I believe the issue is my M1.

I spent the last few days trying out every solution but at the end of the day, importing chainlink and openzeppelin contracts have been impossible.

**Has anyone with a M1 figured out the solution? It's so hard going through the course without being able to test or compile?

Hello @michaelshimeles
There are several reasons for this not to work, so please check the following:

• Check any mismatch on the open zeppelin packages on brownie-config-yaml.
• Check any version on your smart contracts, some contracts are not available on some OpenZeppelin versions.
• Delete .brownie folder on your home directory and try again.

Jum i've checked out the contracts on OpenZeppelin Github and it should work, so let's try the following:

1. Clone the lesson repo, and try to run it, does it work?
2. create a python virtualenv, install brownie on it and try again? does it work?

Also I also have a M1 mac and I know there are a lot of problems with web3 libraries, are you using the default pre installed python?

Yeah importing the code and running it worked but when I copy paste it doesn't work!

Not sure why...

So there must me something we are missing here, as the cloned code work without problems. I would strongly suggest to restart the lesson.
