Feature Request: Clear Data #129
Comments
Doesn't it just replace the existing ones? Or do they end up duplicated? |
Yes, the import process replaces / updates existing and adds new ones when appropriate. However if you've made a lot of changes to the builds, or deleted a bunch from an OP in the past, it'd be preferable to wipe the squad data and import the clean version on the iOS device. Managing a long list of builds is easy to do on the Mac version. Not so easy on the iOS version. This would make it easier in my opinion. |
I understand about the deletes, but not why it's better for any other forms of changes. Doesn't update make the iOS list exactly like the Mac list, except for the deletes? I'm worried that people are going to delete all their squads without meaning to and then send me angry email. Of course I'd have a warning dialog, but no one reads dialogs. I can't find any Apple iOS app with anything like clear data. Do you know of any? |
What about folders instead of deletions? Then you could park builds for On Sat, Sep 20, 2014 at 12:56 PM, Rob Tsuk [email protected] wrote:

That sounds like a good solution. |
I like that idea as well. On Monday, October 6, 2014 11:41 AM, cassiel33 [email protected] wrote:

Because I share data between several devices (Mac + iPad + iPhone) it'd be very helpful to have an option in the iOS UI to clear all squad data. Versus manually deleting each squad before importing external data.
