Is LockRegistry affected by removal of CP Subsytem from Hazelcast Platform 5.5 Community Edition?

It seems that the CP Subsystem is removed in Hazelcast 5.5 Community Edition in favour of Advanced CP Subsystem(w/ Persistence) that is only available in the Enterprise Edition.

Does this mean that the HazelcastLockRegistry implementation is not viable for CE users?

If so - perhaps this could be documented somewhere...I could file a BUG against docs if that would be helpful.
