But it worked with the tag 20221208081605782143, which means the PROJECT_ID has been left empty when building the image.

Yes, unfortunately that's a known limitation https://github.com/spruceid/siwe-oidc/tree/dbde0e01f85c4bb2f7ea7bfc62e6a69ddb0dfa86?tab=readme-ov-file#stand-alone-binary
