IQ error logo after connecting (fenix 6s) #9
Comments
Same issue on my Fenix 6 pro. Firmware 6.0 |
I also have the same issue on my FR945, fw4.20 |
Same issue on FR945, FW 4.70 (APAC version) |
These devices test OK in the simulator with the latest version, please confirm if you are still having issues! |
The app has worked on my 6S for a few versions now but I forget I had filed this issue. |
Hi I have the same IQ issue with my Garmin marq. Connection to the car not working. What can I do to make it work? This looks to be such a nice feature! |
I'll run it up on these devices in the simulator and see what happens. |
Hi again! Thank you for supporting! I have tested some more and also at one point saw the error message 401. Maybe this helps to fault trace. If it helps I have a Tesla Model S from 2015, an Android Samsung S10 phone and the Garmin Marq Golfer watch. if this issue can be solved so that I can access my car with the watch I will definetly will give a contribution to the developer. Thank you! |
Some more info. I have tried to update the token after generating new ones without any success. Maybe 2 or 3 times I have seen the tesla widget face on the watch for maybe 1 second or so. I saw something about cabin temperature but then quickly it dissappeared and showed the IQ logo again with the ”!” mark. |
Maybe it is car related but the Tesla app works well on my phone. Is there anything you see that I can test to fault trace? |
Unless you are comfortable sharing a token with me, I think it's going to be difficult. I'll see what the logging options are. |
Can I get in contact with you in private some way? I don`t want to share a token here in this public forum. Thank you! |
Probably the best way is Twitter DM - @paulobrien |
Tracked down to a null vehicle name, already resolved in a likely future release |
QTW version 2.1
Fenix 6S, software version 6.0
After the expected prompt to wake the screen and a few seconds (including the usual messages and retires) the screen appears to flash something matching the screenshots before showing the connect IQ error logo on the entire screen. At this point the menu is inaccessible.
Exiting the widget and opening it again returns to the prompt to wake the vehicle.
Resetting and uninstalling/reinstalling the widget have no effect.
I don't know the first thing about connectIQ (and can't really muck around with developer modes much given my reliance on this watch), but I'm happy to provide logs etc. if someone can point me where to look.
