Color standards should be color blind and b/w copy friendly.

Current crop color standards used in the land use maps and the figures were derived from Paired-color categorical, 12 Steps.

Potential 7-color band for models:
colorblindness palettes trivial

And 13-color band for crops (adding black):
colorblindness palettes simple

Here is an example using the 7-color palette for color blindness for the modeling groups:
