Effective immediately, clients who are using an outdated version of the SDK 3.x on older Android devices SDK (19-22) will no longer be proceed with payment.

The reason behind this issue is related to changes made on SumUp's servers. It is likely that devices running on Android 4.x and 5.x are no longer supported due to the outdated encryption used in the system. Can someone confirm if this is the root cause of the problem?

When I checked the Sumup Transaction server it supports TLS 1.2 only. TLS 1.1 and 1.0 has been discontinued. Unfortunately this makes old devices not compatible.

Why is this a trouble-ticket?
What actions are being taken in the sumup-android-sdk codebase to handle this issue and when will this ticket be closed?
