Network drawer interaction

I'm really late to the party, but I'm wondering if we can think of a nicer way to instigate the network drawer appearing (About Symphony/Regions/Services). At the moment I find it a little distracting that when I move my mouse towards the navigation I get this drawer pulling down.

Perhaps it's there by default (which would be very eye catching indeed!) or it's integrated as a click state somehow.

I'll have a think about something more constructive to say :)
