Data Source workbooks aren't working

A little new to all of this - Using Tableau 2024.2.2

Is this version too new for these workbooks to work? I see one listed at 2023+, so I thought it would work, and I even tried the older ones just in case, but none worked. They all give the same error saying "This document has no version number".

I don't have any old versions of Tableau to try and use to test this out, sadly. Hoping to get this up and working, but am not finding success.
