Hey!

I have a bit of a problem: I have a modified URL bar via userchrome (this one) in which the add-on icon doesn't show up.

I wonder if you could add a regular toolbar icon as well for my edge case. It could work the same way, but from any site, opening a default location at first. It could be a viable bookmark substitute as well.

Greetings.

I'm sorry. I did not understand your situation.

Does it work correctly in Firefox without userchrome?
What is the "regular toolbar icon"? Why do you need it?

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Does it work correctly in Firefox without userchrome?

Yes. My comment is not an error report but an enhancement suggestion. The userchrome I use intentionally removes page-action-buttons to save space in a shortened URL bar. Without that, the page URL wouldn't be too visable in some cases:

But removing page-action-buttons solves the visability problem in most cases:

What is the "regular toolbar icon"?

Under regular toolbar icon I mean what add-ons usually use to be accessable. Like Checker Plus for example:

So my request would be an Openswitchmap toolbar button which could replace the page-action-button.
