There are occasions when a church service may start at an irregular time. Seeking a solution to cover this.
Scenario: A Christmas Day service running earlier than normal, or Christmas Eve service running later than normal service times. A Sunday 9:30am service may choose to start the Christmas service at 9:00.
Scenario 2: A whole of church combined service which meets on Sunday but at a time different to any of the congregations.
Option 1: teach me how to approach this in a way that exists but I haven't understood yet :)
Option 2: Allow for the start time to be adjusted for all congregational services. The day of the week can already be changed but the start time appears to be locked in.
Option 3: Able to create an extra congregation that is not anchored in time. A congregation that is for services only (and not for congregation members) could be labelled something like 'occasional services' and the start time is changeable. I don't think this is really a different option to the 2nd.
I hope this is clear enough (and also that option 1 or 2 are simple enough).
Happy Christmas everyone :)

Yes, it would be good to be able to override the start time of individual services.
"Extra special" services that really don't belong to any congregation are trickier. I guess we could allow "congregation=null" services and have a separate column for them in the service schedule.
In the meantime the workarounds I use are things like putting "10am combined" in the "format field", and/or planning super special services outside Jethro since they typically have other unusual characteristics too.
