Validation Broken

Per http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/getting-started/framework/validator/overview

...it is required that the input element has a name attribute set, in order (sic) error messages to work correctly.

There are no such name attributes in e.g. https://github.com/telerik/platform-friends-web/blob/master/views/signupView.html resulting in confusing validation behavior where something is preventing submission, but there's no way to tell what. Frustratingly poor example for something that's supposed to be illustrating these technologies to people who are unfamiliar w/ such nuances. 😞

In addition, there is absolutely no wiring up of validation in #login-form in the #welcome view.
